Activities: Customizing progress and type (for Admin users)

  • Updated

Admin > Settings

Admin users can customize Activity Progress options and other Activity Types.

Customizing Activity Progress

Moderan allows administrators to customize the available Progress options used to track the status of Activities.

By default, every Moderan account includes two Progress options:

  • Open (First Default)
  • Done (Last Default)

Additional Progress options can be added between these two defaults to better reflect your organization's workflow.

Examples:

  • In Progress
  • Waiting for Vendor
  • Waiting for Documents
  • Under Review
  • On hold
  • 25%
  • 50%
  • 75%

To customize Progress options

  • Go to Admin > Settings
  • Click EDIT in the Customizing Moderan Fields section
  • In Field Name, select Activity Progress
  • Add, edit, reorder, or remove custom Progress options

Progress options can be reordered by dragging and dropping rows. You can also rename them or assign different colors to improve visibility.

The default Progress options Open and Done cannot be renamed or deleted.

Customizing Activity Types

Activity Types help categorize different kinds of work, making Activities easier to filter, group, and report on.

By default, Moderan includes one Activity Type:

  • Task

You can create additional Activity Types that better match your organization's processes.

Examples:

  • Reminder
  • Inspection
  • Follow-up
  • Meeting
  • Certificate Renewal
  • Maintenance
  • Reports

To create a new Activity Type

  • Go to Admin > Settings
  • Click EDIT in the Customizing Moderan Fields section
  • Select Activity Type
  • Enter the new value
  • Click ADD
  • And SAVE
